As used in this regulation: (a) "State Agency" means the executive branch of the state, or an agency or department thereof; (b) "Employee" means an individual employed by the state in the Classified Service including emergency, temporary, provisional, part-time and intermittent employees and employees on leave of absence with or without pay; (c) "Political party" means a national political party, a state political party, and an organization affiliated with such a party; (d) "Election" includes a primary, special, and general election; (e) "Partisan" when used as an adjective refers to a political party. |
