These rules apply to all proceedings for the approval by the commissioners of any proposal of a public service company to dissolve and terminate its corporate existence. |

In addition to the requirements hereinabove stated in part 1 of this article each application for the approval of the commissioners under section 16-46 of the General Statutes shall contain the following data, either in statement of application or as exhibits annexed thereto and accompanying the application. (a) A statement of the financial condition of the applicant. (b) General description of the applicant's utility plant, the area of its franchise, and the nature of its operation as a public service company. (c) Description of the manner in which the public will be given service in place of the service to be discontinued by the public service company. (d) Statement of the reasons for the dissolution of the public service company and the termination of its corporate existence. |
