Sec.1-92-9. Voting

A majority of concurring votes of members present and voting (provided at least a quorum is present) is required for action of the Citizen's Ethics Advisory Board, except: (a) the concurring vote of two thirds of its members present and voting is necessary to find a person in violation of part 1 of chapter 10 of the Connecticut General Statutes following a board hearing; (b) the concurring vote of two thirds of its members, present and voting, may impose a civil penalty pursuant to section 1-88(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes, following a hearing conducted in accordance with sections 4-176e to 4-184, inclusive, of the Connecticut General Statutes; (c) the concurring vote of two thirds of its members present and voting is necessary to find a person in violation of part 2 of chapter 10 of the Connecticut General Statutes following a board hearing; (d) the concurring vote of two thirds of its members present and voting may impose a civil penalty pursuant to section 1-99(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes, following a hearing conducted in accordance with sections 4-176e to 4-184, inclusive, of the Connecticut General Statutes; (e) any member of the Citizen's Ethics Advisory Board may administer oaths or receive oral or documentary evidence on behalf of the Office of State Ethics; and, (f) as otherwise required by law.
