The Office of State Ethics was established as an independent entity by section 1-80 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The Citizen's Ethics Advisory Board was established within the Office of State Ethics by section 1-80 of the Connecticut General Statutes. The Citizen's Ethics Advisory Board consists of nine members.
